In addition, Kentrel Corporation provides technical assistance and service in the design and installation of water meters, water lines, and customized water treatment systems for industry.

Kentrel Corporation in cooperation with ODAK Corporation has the technical and engineering expertise to design, install, and maintain customized water treatment systems for businesses and industrial application. Our services include designing contact tanks, chemical feed systems, neutralizers, water softeners, iron and manganese removal, reverse osmosis, activated carbon, and deionization systems.

We have combined much of this technology into our Emergency Response Mobile Filtration/Lab Trailer. This unit acts as both a demonstration unit and an operational mobile treatment system that can be used in emergency situations or to provide on-site services for commercial and industrial applications, such as the preparation and treatment of boiler water for storage tanks.

There are five distinct types of piping or mechanical assemblies which are considered to be backflow prevention assemblies; but, it must be stressed that these are not all equally acceptable as protection against all types of hazards. The degree of hazard must be assessed along with the type of cross-connection present to determine which type of backflow prevention assembly is most suitable to the situation. Kentrel Corporation and its technicians are licensed and certified backflow and cross-connection specialists and were certified by New England Water following EPA Protocols.
