The foundation for the ODAK Drinking Water Systems is the solid carbon block filter. Compare solid carbon block technology with other technologies on our Filter Comparisons Page. The solid carbon block filter works by forcing the water through the pores of a densely compacted carbon block. The combination of mechanical filtration, electro-kinetic adsorption, and other physical/chemical adsorption, facilitates the removal of a wide variety of contaminants. The secret of the solid carbon block filter is its exclusive, compressed, activated carbon, triple-filter cartridge, three filters in one unit. The first filter provides for pre-filtration to remove suspended particles, the second is a sub-micron filter for micro-organisms removal, and finally the high-tech compressed carbon matrix.

The treatment units are exclusively designed to meet all of the U.S. Governments Interim Drinking Water Standards, and product construction is made entirely of F.D.A. approved material. The ODAK Drinking Water System has been accepted for use aboard interstate carriers and is registered with the “International Association of Plumbers and Mechanical Officials." The filter was tested by Independent Laboratories. The solid carbon block filter was subjected to over 16 months of rigorous testing. From the results of the testing, it was determined that the solid carbon block can treat over 750 gallons, which is about one year for the average family, while removing contaminants as small as 1/2 (0.5) of a micron before having to be replaced ($44.95). The stainless steel housing has a 25 year warranty. All laboratory results are made available on demand.

The solid carbon block filters do not remove healthy, naturally-occurring minerals, requires no electricity and does not add salt or silver to the water. The Below Counter Unit (ODAK500B $339.95) fits nicely under your kitchen sink, occupying very little space, and installs with minimal effort. The system includes ODAK's solid carbon block triple filter, chemical resistant stainless steel casing, diverter, air vent, base and accessories for counter top installation, which is minimal and requires no tools. ODAK15000 Whole House Water Treatment System and Cartridges 

ODAK Corporation's Whole House Water Treatment System (pictured right $389.00) is designed to provide the consumer with an improved quality of water at every faucet and appliance. Engineered to be installed on the main water supply line, the Whole House System can be used for treatment of all the water in your home on one system. The disposable ODAK15000 filter cartridge has been formulated of materials approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Water enters the system at the main supply line and then passes through a high volume pre-filter pad, trapping unwanted large particulate matter. Next the water must pass through a depth bed of five pounds (5 lbs) of granulated activated carbon containing 1,472,250 square meters of cleansing by using an adsorption process. Fresh, clean water exits the system and flows to the point of use. ODAK's Whole House System effectively reduces dirt, rust, sand, algae, and chlorine improving the smell, taste, and odor, and overall quality of water for bathing or showering, and all other household needs.  

The ODAK15000 Whole House Water Treatment System improves water quality by: 

1. providing clean, clear water at every tap and appliance throughout the home.

2. reducing chlorine which is often used as a disinfectant by municipal water suppliers.

ODAK's Multi-Pure CB-As-SB Model

We are proud to introduce ODAK's Multi-Pure CB-As-SB (Below Sink Model pictured $525.00). It will remove contaminants as small as 1/2 (0.5) of a micron and were created specifically for arsenic removal. They have been tested and certified under NSF/ANSI Standard No. 53 Health Effects and NSF/ANSI Standard No. 42 Aesthetic Effects. The formulation of ODAK's Multi-Pure CB-As filters include a specially developed arsenic adsorbtive media that is blended with the carbons. They have been proven effective in the reduction of pentavalent arsenic known as As(V). The concentration of arsenic, As(V), in water entering the filter was reduced to a concentration less than or equal to the permissible limit for water leaving the filter as specified by the NSF/ANSI Standard No. 53 Health Effect. The CB-As Model tested to reduce Arsenic, Cysts, Lead PCB,s, VOC,s and much more. Our stainless steel housing offers outstanding performance and high-quality features with an unprecedented 25 year warranty. All exterior hoses and attachments to the system are warranted for one year.

This model provides a flow rate of 1.0 gpm @ 60 psi. Approximate housing size is 12.25" x 5.0". It comes with an attractive designer faucet that compliments any kitchen decor. The filter cartridge ($89.96 not pictured) is replaceable and easily changed. Filter cartridges should be replaced annually or sooner if needed. The filter capacity is 600 gallons. This is, without a doubt, the most technologically advanced water treatment device available.

ODAK Model # Rio-C Water Cooler

Our ODAK Model # Rio-C Drinking Water System ($889.00), featured on our Home Page, is the newest addition to our inventory. At home or in the office, it's very convenient for you to draw a glass of sparkling, cold water any time you wish. Not only can you have great tasting, cold, water but you can also enjoy a cup of tea in the morning and a cup of soup at noon. And you can adjust the temperature of both the hot and cold water. The Rio-C utilizes a Direct Chill Coil (DCC) which keeps water chilled without an open storage tank providing better sanitation. This model also uses a unique stainless steel hot tank with a capacity of 1.5 liters. This stainless steel tank keeps the water at its hottest and provides you with unusually fast temperature recovery. It comes in two (2) colors, white (as pictured on our Home Page) and gray on black (pictured right).

Our ODAK500 solid carbon block filter, is mounted on the inside of the water cooler. Remove the access panel of the cabinet with your hands and you will see a magnificent ODAK500 stainless steel filter mounted on a thick, stainless steel plate. This is all manufactured with the buyer in mind and made easy for you to replace the solid carbon block filter. And... you don't need any tools. Our solid carbon block makes us better! This solid carbon block element was tested by independent labs as one of the very few filters that meets the strict guidelines set by the E.P.A. ODAK Custom Made Drinking Water Manifold System

The foundation for the ODAK Drinking Water Manifold System is the integration of the ODAK500 solid carbon block filter. The Manifold System is a custom designed filtration system that is employed where a client's application requirements exceed 1 gpm. The Manifold System approach can provide ultra-high quality water at flow rates as high as 50 gpm and MORE on demand without the need for storage. Pictured is our 10 unit, 10 gpm, custom-made, Stationary Manifold System ($4,250.00). It can also be secured, protected and kept from view in it own steel enclosure. The Manifold System typically includes: water use meters, flow meters, regulators, backflow protection devices, and the carbon block triple filter. These systems have been installed in hospitals, cafeterias, industrial applications, various school districts and our Emergency Response Mobile Trailer.

ODAK also designs custom-made, Portable Manifold Systems with flow and pressure control ($2,200.00). These units are designed for applications in hospitals and other emergency situations. They are self-contained and can be locked up in their own steel carrying case.
